BREEAM and Water Conserving Design. This CPD looks at the issues around water conservation in buildings. The presentation begins with an overview of the natural water lifecycle before looking at a holistic view of designing water management systems and key ways of reducing water usage. It then moves into standards and regulations and BREEAM, before finishing with a section on grey and rainwater recycling. By the end of the session you should have a greater understanding of:

- How to effectively specify low water usage products and management systems in buildings

- The macro issues around water conservation

- The impact that building design and product choice can have on water usage

- BREEAM processes and procedures

- The BREEAM water section requirements and how to achieve the most credits
